About the role

We are looking for an experienced joinery-focused Interior Designer / Draftsman to join our design and technical team. You will turn architectural and interior design drawings into accurate, buildable shop drawings and 3D presentations for our bespoke joinery, then work closely with our estimation, production and site teams so that every item is manufactured and installed exactly as approved.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare detailed 2D shop drawings for wooden doors, fire-rated door sets, frames and architraves, wardrobes, kitchen cabinets, counters, wall cladding and other interior joinery.
• Produce 3D models and visualisations for design development and client or consultant approval.
• Develop plans, elevations, sections and construction details from architectural and interior design drawings.
• Take and verify site measurements and coordinate openings, services and interfaces with other trades.
• Prepare material, finish and ironmongery schedules and support estimation with quantities.
• Submit drawings to consultants, incorporate their comments and manage revisions to approval.
• Issue clear production drawings and cutting information to the factory and support the site team during installation.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years' experience preparing joinery or interior fit-out shop drawings, in the UAE or in your home country.
• Full command of AutoCAD for 2D drafting and detailing.
• Strong 3D skills in software such as SketchUp, 3ds Max, Revit or similar.
• Sound knowledge of joinery construction, board materials, veneers, laminates, hardware and finishes.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural and MEP drawings.
• Understanding of fire-rated door requirements is an advantage.
• Good communication skills in English and ability to manage multiple projects to deadlines.
• Nationality: Indian or Filipino.
